Our Prepping Process

Attention to detail is our main focus! To ensure the best finished product, proper prepping is essential. We don't cut corners on prepping before painting. If you don't prep it right, it won't look right.

Garage Door — Stripped to Bare Aluminum

Old paint won't hold on a failing surface. When a garage door's finish has broken down this badly, we strip it all the way back to bare aluminum before priming and painting so the new finish actually bonds.

Fascia — Sanding Loose & Flaking Paint

Loose and flaking paint gets fully sanded down before repainting, not just spot-covered — that's what keeps the new coat from peeling again in a year.

Gate — Spot Prime Treatment

Spot priming rusted metal gates prevents the rust from bleeding back through the new paint — a step that's easy to skip and impossible to hide later.

Stucco — Elastomeric Crack Caulking

Hairline stucco cracks get filled with a flexible elastomeric caulk that moves with the building instead of a rigid filler that just cracks again.

Utility Box — Spot Prime

Utility boxes and other metal fixtures get the same spot-prime treatment as the rest of the exterior — no surface gets skipped.

Exterior Cleaning — Mildew Treatment & Pressure Wash

Before anything gets primed, the surface is treated for mildew and pressure washed clean — paint applied over dirt or mildew never lasts.

This is what "proper prepping" actually looks like.

Every job gets this same attention to detail before a drop of paint goes on. If you don't prep it right, it won't look right.
